The Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) is Hancock Park Elementary's biggest fundraiser of the year. The Los Angeles Unified School District and government programs only fund very basic necessities for schools. It is our job, as the school’s fundraising body, to close the gap between a basic educational experience and the educational experience we want our kids to have. This means that we provide the school with staff, resources, and educational opportunities that are not provided by the District. Having a successful AGC means we have the opportunity to enhance our children's' education with extracurricular programs. The more of these “extras” we can offer our students, the more enriched and well-rounded their education will be. These “extras” are not provided for unless we provide them, and we cannot do that without the support of the families and community at HPE.
